It’s important that your child’s teachers and school nurse are informed about the signs of very low blood sugar. Below are some actions you can take to help you and your child to be ready for a new school year.

  • Review the signs and symptoms of very low blood sugar with your child’s teachers and school nurse, so they know when rescue treatment is needed
  • Equip your child’s teachers and school nurse with ZEGALOGUE
  • Be sure your child’s teachers and school nurse are properly trained and know how to administer ZEGALOGUE in an emergency. Review the Instructions For Use with them at the start of each school year
  • Make sure your child and/or your child’s teacher carries ZEGALOGUE with them at all times

Review the following symptoms of low blood sugar with your child’s teachers, coaches, and other caregivers. The symptoms include:

  • Sweating
  • Drowsiness (feeling tired)
